Taking over from Cristiano Ronaldo on Manchester United's right flank is unenviable task. Antonio Valencia and Cristiano Ronaldo are different players, but the Ecuadorian has brought his own qualities to the team.
Therefore, Antonio Valencia has earned a special praise from Fergie for the way he has quickly adapted to life at Manchester United.
"Antonio has settled very well. He has been terrific, the lad!," Ferguson said in Inside United magazine.
While Ronaldo was the major goal threat during his time as CR7, Valencia's strength lie more in his ability to create opportunities for others - although his goals against CSKA Moscow and Bolton are promising sign that he can contribute in that department as well.
But, Fergie has chiefly been pleased with the service he provides from the wing.
"Antonio is a good crosser of the ball. He gets the ball in the box and gets it in from tight positions, too. Very seldom are his crosses blocked, which isn't easy to do," Fergie said.

Valencia tidak bisa diharapkan sbg pengganti Ronaldo.. MU butuh pemain sayap bagus disisi kiri dan kanan..
ReplyDeleteyeah, the best wing palyers not only CR7, still a lot of good. they just have not had exposure to the media. it's time to forget about CR7, and find other players with the same quality CR7 or even more.
